1.5 week project for internship at Colony Brands, Inc. // June 2015
The "Lion Chair" went to retail in Fall 2016
Pictured below are photos of the clay sculpture of the chair at the factory. After the chair sculpture was finished, a resin mold was created for resin casting. Each resin mold can produce up to 50 resin cast chair replicas.
After the resin casting, each chair is hand-painted in the same factory. Above are photos of the first, finished sample. This sample was approved for full production for the Seventh Avenue Catalog.
The "Lion Chair" was sold at retail at $349.99.
